Customised patterns for all
You go into a shop and find an item of clothing that you like so much, but it just doesn't fit you. A scenario familiar to everyone who doesn't have a standard figure. Trousers that are far too wide at the waist but constantly slip down the crack of your bum, blouses that stretch over your boobs or leggings that create ugly folds - it all makes you think that something is wrong with your figure.
You are beautiful just the way you are
But the only thing that really isn't true is this conclusion, because we are all beautiful just the way we are. But this only comes into its own with the right garment, one that doesn't crease, isn't too tight anywhere and isn't too loose anywhere, is exactly the right length and has the right waistline. Anyone who has ever had a garment tailored to fit them perfectly knows what a difference it makes and what an incredible effect it has on their self-esteem.
Tailor it yourself?
You would think that the only way to get cheap clothes that really fit is by tailoring them yourself. But here, too, we encounter the same problem: almost all patterns on the market are designed for standard sizes - figure specialities have to be painstakingly incorporated into the pattern. Anyone who likes tailoring knows how important a good pattern is. Even if you have the necessary knowledge to adapt a standard pattern to your own figure, it is still quite time-consuming and it is far from certain that the finished garment will actually fit.
For years, I indulged my passion for tailoring without any in-depth knowledge of patterns. Although I was able to alter patterns, the finished garment often still didn't fit. What a frustration! Not only did I waste a lot of time, I also wasted the most beautiful materials.
I think the best motivation for training is problems like these.
...and another apprenticeship
A few years ago, I therefore decided to learn pattern drafting from scratch and enrolled at a good fashion school. During this training, I learnt everything I needed to know to make a suitable pattern for all figure variations.
I had always been familiar with computers thanks to various training courses, and I had also learnt computer-aided drawing a long time before with various programmes. The best prerequisites, therefore, for realising a long-cherished Dream of the perfect pattern at the touch of a button, so to speak to realise.
How to get your personalised made-to-measure pattern almost free of charge

Customised pattern
You can now benefit from this, because I recently launched the website Mass-Schnittmuster. There you will find a number of patterns (and there are more and more) that you can easily make (or have made) into your own personalised made-to-measure pattern.
Depending on how much you can or want to do yourself, you can get your personalised made-to-measure pattern from as little as CHF 5.00. Using my instructions, you can download the necessary programmes, take and implement your exact measurements and print out your custom-fit pattern on your printer. If this is too time-consuming for you, you can buy what you don't want to do yourself for little money. You only have to take the measurements yourself, but I have also created precise instructions with lots of illustrations that you can use to easily take your measurements.
Why don't you try it out?
Sincerely yours
Daniela Feldmann
